About Romy
I am a screenwriter / director. After completing a bachelor degree in directing, I joined the scenario department of la Fémis. Since then, I have worked as a screenwriter on several feature films, short films and a web series. I also work as a script doctor for cinema and also comics. I am currently directing two short films, a fiction, and a documentary.

I shape my classes according to the expectations and needs of each, depending on the level of the student or group of students. There is for me in education a desire for sharing and dialogue. I am bilingual, and can teach my course in French or English.
In my screenwriting class, I combine theory (dramaturgy, analysis of sequences, to better understand their construction, characters, etc.) and practice (I accompany the student in the writing of a short film). The only way to learn cinema is to actually make a film.
I also give preparation courses for La Fémis' admission exams . Here again, my course has a theoretical chapter (especially for the analysis of sequence, dramaturgy and writing of a synopsis for the second test of the scenario department, decoupage for the directing department) but consists mainly of exam simulations, individual consulting on the "dossier d'enquête" etc...

J’ai proposé à plusieurs scénaristes de se retrouver individuellement chaque semaine dans des cafés, pour discuter de mes interrogations, m’aider à débroussailler la piste des possibles.
Une session de travail avec Romy, c’est génial : les idées fusent et partent loin. Romy a bien compris les enjeux narratifs de mon projet et ses remarques me sont précieuses. Je ressors de chaque session comblé, plein d’une fraîche énergie créative.Perfect! Suivi personnalisé très efficace. Romy est douée et à l'écoute.
