About William
I am a writer with an MS in a niche Humanities field. I have taught different components of English (from writing to speaking to reading) to all ages in a variety of settings (from classrooms to online). I have published creative works and spoken at academic conferences. My students tend to come away from my lessons with not just improved EL abilities, but a general better aptitude for learning in general!

I approach teaching in a very informal manner. I have found, especially in one-on-one settings, students tend to come away with more when we can engage the material together in a less intense/hierarchical format. I like to see and hear how my students are engaging with the material, and I love working my lesson plans to best suit their engagement!
