About Udipta
My name is Udipta Mitra, a 19-year-old Data Science student with a long-standing passion for Mathematics. I have been in love with the subject since Class 6, when I scored my very first 100/100 - a moment that shaped my academic journey (I still have the paper).
I have consistently performed at the top of my class:
- Class 10: 100 in Math, 98.2% overall
- Class 12: 94 in Math, 93.8% overall
- College (1st Semester): CGPA 9.14
These results reflect not just hard work, but a deep understanding of concepts and an excitement for learning that I bring into my teaching as well.
As a tutor, I am committed, organized, and respectful of every student’s pace. I maintain a professional yet friendly environment where my students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas without hesitation. My goal is to help them not only score well but also genuinely enjoy Mathematics the way I do.

My approach to teaching Mathematics focuses on building strong concepts and genuine interest in the subject, rather than rote learning. I believe students understand better when they know the “why” behind every concept, so I often explain how ideas developed and what makes them logically work.
I provide extensive notes, clear explanations, and plenty of practice problems during and after each class to ensure students gain confidence through application. Regular practice is combined with guided problem-solving so that students don’t feel stuck or overwhelmed.
A typical 1-hour class is structured efficiently:
- 5 minutes – Quick revision of the previous class
- 20 minutes – Concept explanation and theory
- 35 minutes – Practice, problem-solving, and doubt clearing
As a teacher, I am enthusiastic, patient, and deeply invested in my students’ progress. I aim to create a comfortable learning space where students feel encouraged to ask questions and think independently. I have a teaching experience of 3+ yrs
My classes are intended for school students from Classes 6 to 10, especially those who want to strengthen their basics, improve performance, or develop a real interest in Mathematics.
