About Joseph
As a teacher, my first and foremost priority is the student and how they respond to new and confusing material. I always ask whether concepts make sense consistently and, if not, where I can assist them most. I believe learning should be collaborative and active, and although at times it can be scary or feel helpless, I try to be that support system and source of encouragement when it's needed too.

My teaching plans would follow a rough format, but each lesson is obviously unique and exciting in its own way, so it's hard to generalize.
1) The student lets me know beforehand (preferably one to
two days) about which material we will cover so I can
prepare lesson materials.
2) Depending on what we will be going over, I will e some
practice problems or examples for us to go over to help
learn and reinforce concepts, or we will go over your
coursework and help get through that together.
My degree and qualifications allow me to best tutor Highschool students or college students in introductory courses, and my college application process/turnout poses me as a highly strategic college counselor and ACT/SAT tutor.
