About Cesar
I’m Cesar Ramirez, professionally known as DJ C-Zer, and I’ve been DJing since 1996. My background spans clubs, private events, weddings, radio, live mixes, remixing, and music production throughout Southern California and beyond. Over the years, I’ve performed at numerous clubs and venues, worked in radio, and built extensive hands-on experience with vinyl, Technics 1200s, Serato, digital DJ systems, and live event performance.
What I bring to students is more than just learning which buttons to press. I teach the fundamentals of beatmatching, phrasing, blending, EQ control, song selection, crowd reading, transitions, and performance confidence from the perspective of someone who has spent decades actually working with audiences. Music has always been about reading the room and knowing when to bring in the right song at the right moment.
My goal is to give students a solid foundation, help them develop their own DJ style, and pass along the real-world skills and techniques I’ve learned over 20+ years behind the decks.

I teach DJing from a real-world, hands-on perspective built from more than 20 years of experience as a professional Mixmaster DJ. Students learn beatmatching, smooth transitions, phrasing, EQ control, song selection, cueing, mixing techniques, crowd reading, and how to build confidence behind the decks. My lessons are beginner-friendly, practical, and tailored to each student’s goals, whether they want to DJ for fun, perform at parties, or eventually work professional events.
