About Cat
In 2001 I moved to Japan to teach English. I found my place in Kindergarten teaching at that time and enjoyed what that had to offer for many years. I continued to tutor, coach and edit for ESL students into recent years. I am a Native speaker of English and have three children with my Japanese husband. My teaching and mentoring have been in the field of music, emergency services, early childhood education and general ESL. I use humor and fun with all students and love the interaction with people from many places and with many backgrounds.

Each student learns differently and I approach lessons with a unique plan that is dynamic and follows the needs presented on the day as well as the overall goals of the student. Sessions are either 30 or 45 mins depending on student needs. I am an Aussie who started ESL teaching in Japan 2001 and have moved into University coaching as well as Early Childhood work and training and music tutoring. Lessons are for all ages but more suited to those in studies or with clear goals for their English language improvement.
