About Demi

With 14 years of experience teaching piano to students of all levels, I’ve had the privilege of helping over 150 students develop their skills and passion for music. I specialize in creating a learning environment where each student feels supported and encouraged to grow at their own pace. My tutoring approach blends technical mastery with creative exploration, ensuring that students not only learn how to play but also understand the music they’re playing. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students connect theory with practice, and I place great emphasis on flexibility, adapting lessons to fit each student’s unique learning style and goals. My lessons incorporate problem-solving strategies, allowing students to overcome challenges while building confidence in their abilities. In addition to teaching piano, I also focus on areas like music theory, ear training, and performance techniques, providing a comprehensive music education. My compassionate and patient approach helps students develop both their musical skills and a deeper love for the piano. Whether you're just starting or aiming for a higher level of proficiency, I’m dedicated to helping you reach your full potential.

About the lesson

I approach each lesson with integrity, ensuring that students not only master the piano but also develop a deep respect for music. I emphasize the importance of practice, patience, and consistency while being flexible in adapting to each student's learning style and pace. Whether a student is just starting or has more advanced skills, I tailor my lessons to meet their individual needs.

Problem-solving is a key part of my approach; I encourage students to overcome challenges through critical thinking and perseverance. Compassion is also central to my teaching — I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. In addition to piano, I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, and performance techniques, ensuring a well-rounded musical education for every student.
