About Ralyn
Cosmetology is a wonderful career to get into. I started out much like you, feeling like I didn't know as much as I should or wanted to and lacking confidence in my abilities. In 1999 the internet barely existed so we didn't have all the tools, social media, tutorials, videos etc that are out there today. I'm very upfront, honest and direct. I won't waste your time sugar coating things. We'll get right to business and focus on what you need help with the most to be the best stylist you can be upon graduation.

I love hair color! I have 26 years experience and take a minimum of 2 classes each year. I'm recently certified in Masters of Balayage, I've worked with over 15 color and lighter lines and understand the differences in each one. Not all color lines are the same. American and European lines have similarities and differences. Understanding the fundamentals from the beginning is key. It will establish your personal foundation and boost your confidence upon graduation, and into your first few years as you continue to learn. Cosmetology school teaches you how to get your license and the bare bone basics of doing hair. You will learn more in the first 5 years of your career than any other time. I'd love to help you make that transition as easy as possible. Lessons are customized to what you need help with the most.

My rate is based on my knowledge and experience in the cosmetology field. It's 1/3 of my hourly salon rate, as I know that as a student, budget-friendly is a necessity.
