About Tomas
I grew up in Spain and when I was 22 years old I moved to Cambridge. In 2014, I attended Anglia Ruskin University where I graduated with a second lower class degree in Medical and Molecular Biological Sciences.
I volunteered in the university cell culture laboratories as a research assistant which helped me to realize that my passion lay within learning and teaching scientific subjects such as biochemistry, statistics and molecular cell biology.
I have 5 years of experience asaa scientist for a biotech company focused on delivering monoclonal products. I am currently studying a MSc in bioengineering focus on designing instruments and medical devices.
I consider myself passionate about and for science and I like to the idea to promote science to everyone by teaching and helping students or adult learners with their scientific subjects.
My teaching approach consists in inspiring and engaging students to become motivated with their subjects; to enhance their skills and to become competent enough to seek for a dream job.
