About Daniel
I graduated Indooroopilly State High School in 2021 with a 94.30 ATAR, doing General Math, Methods Methods, and Specialist Math, as well as Physics, Chemistry, English, and Design.
I achieved 91/100 in chemistry, as my top subject with many of my other marks coming in not far behind in the mid to high 80’s (83% is the standard A cutoff to all parents who did a system before ATAR!).
I took a gap year in 2022, and got into tutoring as a way to retain knowledge learned in school whilst having more spare time than a full-time job (allowing me to work on my online business and take my mountain bike racing to a national level again (having stopped for year 12)).
2022 was also my first year tutoring, and I had around 30 clients, with 20 or so on a weekly basis, and some even more frequently. I tutored boys and girls from years 1 through to 12, with one of my students graduating with a 98 ATAR, and another 2 getting in the 90-95 range. That’s a third of my year 12’s getting above a 90 ATAR!
In 2023, I continued racing mountain biking at a national level, and taught myself how to trade forex, crypto, stocks, and commodities. I also started my own YouTube channels, as well as continuing to tutor many students from last year, and taking on new clients.
In 2024, I am studying at the University of the Sunshine Coast doing Sports and Exercise Science, finishing the year with a 6.5 GPA (out of 7, averaging 80% across all subjects) and continued tutoring, but at a reduced capacity!
In 2025, I only took on a handful of new students to focus on uni, and became the top 2% to 0.3% of crypto traders worldwide (varies each 30-90 day rolling period) on Binance. I held a 6.5 to 7 GPA throughout the first semester, as well as a handful of students.
Starting 2026, I am reducing uni to part-time, and taking a step back from day trading to focus on longer-term outlooks, and have the opportunity to take on some more tutoring students.
I hold a blue card and access to my own transport.

With first hand experience of the ATAR system and 4 years of tutoring, I have a very in depth knowledge of exactly what the ATAR markers are looking for on assignments, to help your child spend the minimum amount of time possible stressing and worrying. Instead, from the get go, they will know exactly what to write, and where the marks are allocated. No need for all nighters or last minute teacher conferences for desperate help. Many of my year 12 students achieved over 80% on their Year 12 maths and science assignments in just 3-4 lessons of tutoring, starting from complete scratch!
With exams, I can show your child what sort of questions will come up on exams, what exactly they have to write to get the marks, as well as what topics are larger, smaller, harder, or easier, to again, minimise wasted time, and maximise marks. My goal is to help my students do better than I did in year 12 by not making the same small, but costly mistakes that I have since learned from. Although year 11/12 is my speciality, I am happy to work with all year levels, especially year 9’s and 10’s, who are about to choose their ATAR subjects. The earlier students learn the very specific ATAR marking guide, the less stress they have in the future!
Why pay tutoring companies $70-$90 an hour, and have to deal with a middle man? Most companies pay their tutors less than half of what you pay them. Plus, your tutor could be fresh out of high school, with no experience, getting $25 an hour, whilst $65 an hour of your hard earned money is going to a big company that does nothing other than take what you say on the phone, write a few (often incorrect) notes on a job board, and have a tutor click on it, then provide them your contact number.
If your child is in year 11 or 12, and is doing any of the hardest maths or science subjects, I know I will be able to help them get the best mark possible.

As a newly graduated high schooler, his personal experience in going through the ATAR system and senior curriculum means that I - as his student - have gained inside knowledge into the mathematical areas in which I should focus my time and a deeper understanding of what QCAA markers will be looking for.
