About LAUREN
Hi, I’m Lauren. I’ve been teaching Psychology for 20 years because I genuinely love it — not just the theories, but the way it helps us understand ourselves and each other.
I became a teacher because I believe education should build confidence, not anxiety. Too often students feel overwhelmed, especially in subjects like Psychology where there’s so much content. I want my students to feel capable, clear and supported.
Psychology is about people — how we think, feel and behave — and I’m passionate about helping students see that it isn’t just something to memorise for an exam. It’s something that can help them understand their own minds too.
I also care deeply about creating a calm, focused learning environment. Every student learns differently, and I enjoy finding the approach that works for you — especially if you’ve ever felt that school doesn’t quite fit how your brain works.
My goal isn’t just grades (although we’ll aim high!) — it’s helping you feel confident, independent and proud of your progress.

Psychology GCSE & A Level Specialist | 20 Years’ Experience
Hi, I’m Lauren. I’ve spent two decades teaching GCSE and A Level Psychology and know exactly what examiners are looking for.
I don’t just teach content — I teach students how to think like a psychologist and how to structure A/A* answers with confidence. Sessions focus on:
• Clear, high-grade essay structure (AO1, AO2 & AO3)
• Applying research effectively
• Strategic, efficient revision
• Building independent exam technique
Alongside this, I integrate focus and stress-regulation tools (drawing on my yoga teaching background) to help students stay calm and clear under pressure.
I have extensive experience supporting ADHD and ASC learners, tailoring sessions to suit different cognitive styles.
If your child is bright but overwhelmed, capable but disorganised — I can help them feel confident and in control.
