About Michelle
I live in Melbourne's CBD and have been teaching in Primary Schools since 2008. I am also TESOL trained and experienced in teaching people of all ages to learn and improve their English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
I absolutely love teaching and helping. I did volunteer English teaching through AMES and also in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
I am also qualified and experienced in learning difficulties, neurodiverse learner needs and counselling. I can help identify and navigate issues that maybe holding students back from achieving growth.
My qualifications are:
Bachelor of Arts (Social Sciences and Literature) Monash University
Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) - Melbourne University
Graduate Certificate of Education (Student Wellbeing) University of Melbourne
Diploma of Professional Counselling
Cert IV TESOL
I work casually now between 2 schools and also Melbourne Zoo!
I taught Grade 6 online throughout Victoria's lockdowns, so I have extensive experience in teaching and learning online.... and ensuring students are engaged and enjoying their learning!
