About Ivy
I am a piano tutor with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (Piano) and over 9 years of teaching experience. I combine formal academic training with practical experience across jazz, pop, and classical genres. This allows me to tailor lessons to each student’s interests and goals. I work with both school-aged students and adults, helping them build technique, confidence, and a love for playing. My lessons focus on developing strong fundamentals while keeping music engaging and enjoyable. I use a mix of exercises, repertoire, and creative activities to make learning fun. I enjoy helping students prepare for performances, exams, or simply personal growth through music. Whether you are a beginner or advancing to more complex pieces, I guide you step by step. My goal is to nurture both skill and passion, so students feel motivated every session. Music is meant to be expressive and enjoyable, and I aim to make every lesson inspiring.
