About Raghland
Hello, and welcome! I am a math teacher with 20 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics from Madras University. I love helping students see that math is something they can understand and enjoy.
I teach a wide range of levels and curricula, including Algebra 2, Math Honors, AP Calculus AB/BC, SAT, ACT and AMC 10, as well as GCSE, A Levels, IB, IGCSE (including Additional Maths), ISC and CBSE.
Every student is different, so I begin by finding out where you are now and where you want to get to. Then I build lessons around you, whether that means patient step-by-step teaching, help with school assignments and tests, or mock papers for board exams.
My students have gone on to study at universities, several of them choosing statistics as their specialization. I would be glad to help you take your next step.

About Me and My Teaching Method
I have been teaching mathematics for 20 years. Over that time I have worked with students across many curricula and levels, from those who need a patient, step-by-step approach to those aiming for top grades and competitive exams. What I Teach . US curriculum and competitions-Algebra 2, Integrated Math Level 3, Math Honors, AMC 10, AP Calculus AB/BC, SAT and ACT

How I Teach
I do not use a one-size-fits-all method. At our first free-trial meeting I find out where you are right now, and I plan the lessons from there. I also ask about your goals and I build the course around where you want to go.
• Step-by-step teaching: For students who need it, I break each concept into small, clear steps and move forward only when each one is secure, so that difficult topics stop feeling overwhelming.
• Support with school work: I guide students through their school assignments and prepare them for periodic school tests. Better results in these tests build real confidence in tackling harder concepts.
• Time and space to practice: Many students find it hard to make time for math practice. I provide that dedicated time and space, so practice happens consistently and with guidance.
• Exam preparation: For board examinees, I set several mock papers and review performance regularly. This shows us what is improving and what still needs work, so the final preparation is focused.
Results
My US students have gone on to universities where they chose statistics as their specialization. Strong foundations in Algebra 2, Calculus and exam preparation helped them move into degree courses that rely heavily on mathematics.
My Online Classroom
My lessons are fully interactive. I write with a digital pen on a Wacom board over a stable internet connection, so you see every step worked out live, just like a whiteboard in a classroom. I use Desmos extensively, along with GeoGebra and other math tools, to make graphs and abstract ideas visual and easier to understand.
