About Dana
I hold a BS in Exercise Science, a M Ed in Exercise Physiology, an RYT 200 hour yoga teacher certification, and a Yoga Coach Certification. I currently teach Hot Power Yoga at a local studio in Marietta Ga, and a gentle yoga stretching class a Community Center in Marietta, GA. I have a solid practice that includes vinyasa and sequence 26 +2. I love what Yoga has done for my personal growth and enjoy sharing that with students. Finding ways to focus on alignment and breathing to help student stay engaged and growing in different aspects of the practice. Zoom and in person sessions available.

I teach yoga from a subtle body experience. I believe you can tap into the energetic body under physical stress (exercise) and learn about your default emotional responses to stress. I focus on recognizing the default thoughts that occur when in hard poses and tapping into the mind to change the thoughts. I also teach true north alignment cues. How to tap into your true north to express out from the centerline.
