About Jacqueline
Hi! My name is Jacqueline Lemmond, but I go by Jackie. I am an applied mathematics graduate student taking classes remotely at the University of Washington. I started tutoring in 2021 at Mathnasium, then I worked for MathCorp tutoring at a local middle school for a year. Now, I private tutor all ages. Whether you are a struggling high school student, an adult going back to school, or a first grader still learning the basics, I can help you reach your mathematical goals.

My lessons are support lessons for current classwork for high school and college level courses. Since math builds on itself, it is common for a student to struggle due to an unmastered skill needed to fully understand current material. I will help close those gaps created by missing skills, while also keeping the student current on their class workload. My lessons usually start with a warm-up exercise designed to work on missed skills, then move on to class material. I use a "I do, We do, You do" method, where I show the student how to do a problem, we work on a similar problem together, then the student does a similar problem.
