About Karra

I am a dedicated and resilient professional. With a foundation in economics, political science, and sociology from my undergraduate studies, coupled with over two decades of experience in nonprofit programming, I have honed my skills in working with at-risk youth using trauma-informed methods. As a first-generation student, I understand the importance of overcoming academic challenges, and I am committed to providing guidance to others navigating similar paths. My journey is marked by a passion for creating positive change, both in academic settings and in the community. I bring a unique blend of academic insight, real-world experience, and a compassionate approach to my work, aiming to empower individuals to unlock their full potential. Through personalized coaching, I assist others in conquering academic hurdles, advancing their careers, and achieving personal growth. My goal is to inspire and guide individuals toward success, drawing on my diverse background and commitment to making a meaningful impact on the lives of those I work with.

About the lesson

Embark on a journey of literacy and discovery with my elementary reading tutoring services. As a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in nonprofit programming and youth development, I am dedicated to fostering a love for reading in young minds. Using trauma-informed methods and drawing upon my two decades of experience working with primarily ESL students, I provide tailored and compassionate tutoring sessions designed to meet the unique learning needs of each child. Together, we'll explore the joys of storytelling, cultivate essential reading skills, and build a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning. Let's unlock the world of words and imagination together!
