About Eleonora
Bitten in creative expression and movement, I practiced music and artistic gymnastics all my childhood, before discovering a passion for oriental dance and flamenco. I started teaching oriental dance in 2013, alongside my job in a multinational. In 2015, I decided to give up a promising career but not corresponding to my values, to reorient myself professionally and adopt a lifestyle leaving more room for my passion for teaching and movement.

Oriental dance is a dance of Egyptian origin, which includes many styles. Originally, it was a spontaneous and improvised dance, but today it is taught academically all over the world. It is traditionally practiced by women, who express through this art their femininity, their vitality, but also their feelings, joys and sorrows. In general, this dance is characterized by the dissociation of parts of the body (isolations) that can move independently of each other. Oriental dance composes as well with jerky rhythms as slow and fluid. Oriental dance is not limited to movements of the pelvis: it seeks flexibility and tone of the bust, shoulders, arms, hands, pelvis and stomach. It helps tone the thighs, relax the joints, develop the abdominals and maintain the back. The main part of the work residing in muscle contraction, this dance can be practiced at any age, respecting the limits of each dancer.
