About Paul Adrian
My name is Paul. I am a Python tutor with a strong background in computer science and mathematics.
I teach mathematics and computer science at Art of Problem Solving (AoPS), where I work as a grader, teaching assistant, and instructor. I have over five years of experience working with motivated students in structured, problem-solving–focused environments.
I began private tutoring nearly two years ago after parents contacted me through AoPS for individualized Python and math support. Since then, I have worked with students of different ages and levels, helping them build confidence and consistency in their learning.
I enjoy working one-on-one with students and families who value clear communication, patience, and steady progress. I take my responsibility as a tutor seriously and aim to be reliable, professional, and supportive.

My Python lessons are fully one-on-one and personalized for kids, teens, and adult beginners.
Each lesson is adapted to the student’s level, pace, and goals. Students may be learning Python for the first time, improving school performance, building small projects such as games or applications, or preparing for competitions. Lessons are structured but flexible, allowing time for questions and exploration.
I focus on helping students understand what they are doing and why it works. Lessons emphasize breaking problems into smaller steps, writing clear and logical code, and developing strong problem-solving habits.
Students learn in a calm and supportive environment where mistakes are treated as part of the learning process. The goal is steady, meaningful progress and growing confidence, so programming feels understandable and enjoyable rather than overwhelming.
