Senior in high school, teaches Computer Science for all ages and levels. Proficient in Python, Java, HTML, and CSS.

I have known Sophia since middle school. She has proven herself to be a knowledgeable and helpful individual who is highly skilled in various mathematical topics.

Sophia has helped me through my trig H course as well as my AP calc BC course and every lesson has been well crafted and tailored to what I was struggling with. At no point in the lesson did I feel uncomfortable asking questions, even if they were somewhat basic, because she always would take the time to make sure I understood the concept before we continued. She has a great understanding of the material and an even better sense of how to explain the concepts. I would often feel very satisfied with her explanations when we were breaking down the more difficult problems into steps. She would also let me have a copy of her notes for that lesson if I requested, which I would usually use as review before a test. Sophia is a wonderful instructor, an amazing person, and I can say with certainty that she is the reason I did so well in my classes.

Having gone to school with Sophia since elementary school and having tutored with her in the past, I have seen her develop her passion for computer science and helping others. In precalc and trig last year, she hosted calls for a group of us to study before tests and quizzes. Sophia would go through practice problems, reteach concepts, and make us feel confident in our ability to take the test- I wouldn’t have gotten an A in the class without her help. She is an amazing person and great teacher. Fully recommend!

I think Sophia is a trustworthy teacher because she comes to her sessions prepared and she has experience tutoring for several years. Her understanding of Computer Science is apparent in her teaching.
